Entrepreneurial Education Workshop

On November 2-4, the Yessenov University Caspian Center for Entrepreneurship hosted a three-day intensive Entrepreneurial Education Workshop for faculty from the Department of Business and Law, organized by the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan and representatives from the University of Iowa (USA).

At the workshop, Iowa Venture School Adjunct Instructor-lecturer Gregg Barkus and International Business Institute Professor and Grant Program Administrator Kelly Bedeian shared information on business and corporate development strategies, capitalization and execution, and the use of technology and investing to scale up a startup. In addition, hands-on workshops were held with faculty members who participated during the seminar period. All of the seminar instructors were awarded certificates from the University of Iowa Institute of International Business.
