Students of the 3rd year of the educational program “Operation of ship power plants” continued their training on the basis of “Ship equipment and service” LLP within the framework of a Memorandum and an agreement on dual education. During the event, the first step was taken in dual education in the maritime field, with the help of which students of the Maritime Academy of Yessenov University had the opportunity to combine theory with practice in production.
Yessenov University hosted the international scientific and practical conference “The way of a scientist-a ladder to wisdom”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary and the day of science of Professor of the Department of Ecology and geology, academician of the International Academy of informatization, candidate of geological and mineralogical Sciences Kozhakhmet Kosarbay Abdrakhmanovich, who devoted his main works to the study of land construction and fossil resources, teaching the education of a new generation of industrial engineers, honoring his students in competitive competitions.
Currently, the university, together with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Technical University of Berlin (Germany), Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (Kazakhstan), Kazakh-German University (Kazakhstan), National Research University “Tashkent Institute of irrigation and agricultural mechanization engineers” (Uzbekistan), University of Nigeria (Nigeria), Central African Protestant University (Cameroon), has signed an agreement on the implementation of the unitwin program on sustainable development program.
Professor Tristan McCowan of the University of London College (UCL) held an open interview with students and faculty of Yessenov University on the Sustainable Development Goals. During the meeting, the main and most relevant areas of sustainable development by 2030 UN Agenda and the direct role of universities in solving environmental problems were discussed.
