Yessenov University scientists and educators excel in their fields.

On March 1, a symposium titled “Kazakh language – the language of science: traditions and innovations” took place in Turkestan at the International Kazakh–Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, celebrating the Day of Gratitude.

The symposium, attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, recognized outstanding researchers and university educators. Winners of the “Best Researcher-2023” and “Best University Teacher-2023” contests were honored.

Minister Sayasat Nurbek acknowledged the significant contributions of teachers and scientists to education and national science in his opening remarks.

During the ceremony, President of Yessenov University, Professor Akhmetov Berik Bakytzhanovich, received the D. A. Kunaev Prize for Young Scientists for his outstanding work in natural sciences.

Out of the 75 annual state scientific scholarships in the Republic, four were awarded to scientists from Yessenov University. Notable recipients included Professor Serikbayeva Akmaral Kabylbekovna and Professor Nurdauletova Bibaisha Ilyasovna.

Additionally, 75 talented young scientists, including Yessenov University’s Nurmaganbet Ermek Talanovich and Samal Syrlybekkyzy, received state scientific scholarships and prizes in science.

Two teachers from Yessenov University, Aigul Gusmanova and Symbat Koibakova, were recognized with special awards in the “Best University Teacher-2023” competition, which included participants from 43 universities in Kazakhstan.

The winners of the “Best Researcher” and “Best University Teacher” contests were selected by the Republican competition Commission based on specific criteria in December 2023.
