The main purpose

The main purpose of the registrar’s office is to manage the processes associated with the registration of the entire history of student achievement during the entire period of study.

Tasks Registrar’s office

Assistance to students in obtaining education along the chosen trajectory of training in close cooperation with other educational departments of the university using the tools of automation and digitalization of business processes, adhering to the principles:

  • customer focus;
  • high-quality performance of functions;
  • maximum transparency in work;
  • timeliness of the assigned tasks.
  1. The coordination and monitoring of the educational process, organization of current, midterm, and final control for all forms of education as part of the educational process of following the academic calendar of the university.
  2. Ensuring the timely and high-quality provision of services to students. The functions of the office of the registrar are managing the processes of maintaining and registering the history of educational achievements of students.

Functions of the registrar’s office

  • support for students in academic matters;
  • coordinating the formation of an individual learning path;
  • organization of a monitoring system for educational achievements of students;
  • drawing up an academic ranking of students;
  • preparation of documents for awarding vacant educational grants;
  • organization of the summer semester;
  • coordination of the internal academic mobility program;
  • legalization of the stay of foreign students on the territory of the city of Aktau, monitoring, and control of their movement;
  • registration and accounting of the movement of the contingent of students – transfers from another university, transfers within the university, transfer from course to course, recovery, expulsion, repeated course;
  • preparation of orders and submissions for the student body;
  • presentation of statistical and other reports on the contingent of students;
  • work on the registration of students of draft age;
  • monitoring the passage of nostrification of documents of foreign students;
  • issuance of a certificate at the request of students;
  • determination of the need and registration of an application for forms of strict reporting,
  • filling in and ensuring their proper storage;
  • execution, registration, and issuance of diplomas, duplicates, and their applications to graduates;
  • provision of monthly reports to RFB for the provision of public services;
  • maintaining and pre-archival storage of students’ documents.
