On June 22, the ceremony of awarding diplomas to students and undergraduates of Yessenov University was held.
Akim of Mangistau oblast, university professors, alumni and their parents, as well as honorary guests took part in the event.
A solemn speech was made by akim of the region Eraly Lukyanovich Tugzhanov, who in his turn congratulated the graduates on the occasion of receiving the diploma. Akim of the region awarded 22 students with Diplomas with Honour. After oblast akim’s words the rector of the Yessenov University Berik Bakhytzhanovich Akhmetov wished good luck to the graduates.
This year 517 students graduated from the Yessenov University under the Bachelor’s program, 67 graduates in the Master’s program and 178 graduates in the evening and in the correspondence departments. Among the graduates of this year there are holders of presidential scholarships, students who graduated with honours, laureates of international, republican subject Olympiads and world-class sports masters.
The solemn event was continued by the concert program. Those present saw the cadets of the military department who marched with the song, as well as a waltz prepared by the same graduates. The solemn event ended with a festive fireworks display.
