RESEARCH COUNCIL

The Research Council is a collegiate consultative and advisory body in the field of formation and practical implementation of research and innovation activities of the university. The composition of the research council is elected for a period of 3 years at the general meeting of the staff. The Chairman of the Research Council is the Vice President for Research and Development of Yessenov University.

The Research Council determines promising areas of scientific and scientific and technical activities of the university, develops appropriate proposals aimed at improving the scientific activities of the university, determines effective forms of integration of scientific and educational activities, their influence on scientific activities in the training of specialists, promotes the development of international cooperation in the field of scientific, technical and innovative development of the university, assists in the training of scientific personnel and the improvement of the scientific qualifications of the teaching staff.

Main objectives of the Research Council

  • Identification of promising areas for the university’s scientific and scientific-technical activities, their compliance with the profile of training specialists and educational programs.
  • Development of recommendations on the use of the results obtained in the course of research activities.
  • Involvement of scientific and pedagogical workers, the most capable students of undergraduates, doctoral students and young scientists to carry out scientific research that contributes to the development of science, engineering and technology.
  • Determination of effective forms of integration of scientific and educational activities of the impact of scientific activities on the quality of training of specialists.
  • Analysis and evaluation of the main results of scientific research conducted at the university, consideration of the results of research activities of the university departments.
  • Development of criteria and participation in the assessment of the scientific and scientific-technical activities of the university and its relationship with the educational process.
  • Development of relevant proposals aimed at improving the name of the areas of activity.
  • Consideration of issues of scientific and (or) scientific-technical, innovative activities of the university, development of proposals and recommendations for its improvement.
  • Assistance in the implementation of priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical and educational activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, determined by the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  • Consideration of issues of interaction between the university and other scientific organizations, higher educational institutions in the formation and implementation of a unified state and technical policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  • Study and development of proposals for improving the scientific and design work of the university.
  • Development of proposals for improving the efficiency of scientific, scientific-technical innovation activities of the university.
  • Assistance in the training of scientific personnel and the improvement of the scientific qualifications of teaching staff

YOUNG SCIENTISTS' COUNCIL

The goals of the YSC are to enhance the professional growth of young scientists, to unite their efforts to develop urgent scientific problems and solve priority scientific problems, and to develop innovative activities of young scientists.
 
To achieve these goals, YSC carries out the following activities:
 

  • Coordinates the activities of the YSC of the faculties of Yessenov University in the organization of scientific research of young scientists, plans and provides the necessary assistance in organizing conferences, scientific trips for young scientists;
  • Organizes and conducts scientific conferences, symposiums, seminars, round tables, exhibitions, forums and series of lectures, leading scientists from other scientific and educational centers of Kazakhstan and foreign countries and other events in which young scientists could take part;
  • Promotes the development of direct contacts between young scientists to organize interdisciplinary complex scientific research by young scientists aimed at solving urgent and practically significant problems of modern science;
  • Carries out work to inform young scientists about scientific research and activities carried out by Kazakh and foreign organizations;
  • Supports and stimulates the innovative activity of young scientists, organizes and carries out activities related to investment programs and project proposals for young scientists;
  • Participates in international, interregional, regional and other projects and programs;
  • Implements activities to attract students to research work;
  • Carries out career-guidance work of the university according to the plan of Yessenov University;
  • Carries out other activities that correspond to the set goals and do not contradict the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and these Regulations;
  • Provides information and an annual report on its activities.
