Improvement of Oil and Gas Production Techniques and Technologies. Marine Engineering. Prevention of Emergency Oil Spills at Sea

From April 21 to May 2, 2025, the faculty of the “Petrochemical Engineering” Department of the “Engineering” Faculty completed a 72-hour professional development course on the topic “Improvement of Oil and Gas Production Techniques and Technologies. Marine Engineering. Prevention of Emergency Oil Spills at Sea.”

Modern methods of oil and gas field exploration were presented by Aigul Gainullayevna Gusmanova, Associate Professor of the “Petrochemical Engineering” Department and Candidate of Technical Sciences.

During the course, the trainer covered key topics, including: Automated Control Systems; SCADA Systems; Remote Monitoring; Predictive Maintenance; Innovative Methods for Reducing Capital Expenditures; Application of Artificial Intelligence in Oil and Gas Production; and Integration of Alternative Energy Sources.

The course was highly productive. Participants acquired valuable knowledge and practical skills in the following areas: prevention of oil spills, emergency response at sea, compliance with international marine safety standards, application of 3D modeling technologies in the design of marine facilities, as well as monitoring and diagnostics of marine structures. The knowledge gained will contribute to improving work efficiency and ensuring a higher level of safety at marine facilities.

Upon completion of the course, each participant received an official certificate of completion.
