Develop skills with FabLab technopark: courses for students start

In 2025, declared the Year of Working Professions in Kazakhstan within the framework of the reform of the technical and vocational education system, courses organized by the Institute of Continuing Education started at the FabLab Technopark of Esenov University. These courses play an important role in training specialists who are able to effectively apply knowledge and skills in practice. These courses contribute to enhancing the prestige of working professions, as emphasized by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
         Since April 1, 2025, educational courses for students on the topics “Basics of 3D Modeling and Animation in Blender,” “Basics of Robotics,” and “Basics of Sewing” are being held at the FabLab Technopark. The courses will last until June 2, 2025.

The goal of the courses is to develop practical skills in students in the fields of digital technologies, engineering solutions, and creative craftsmanship. Participants of the courses master modern tools that open up new prospects for their future professional activities.

Training programs:

  1. “Basics of 3D Modeling and Animation in Blender” – students learn to create 3D models, animate objects, and work with graphics in the popular program Blender. Course instructor — 3D designer Adilet Orazgalievich Sandibek.
  2. “Basics of Robotics” – participants get acquainted with robot construction, study the basics of electronics and programming, and also implement their own technical projects. Course instructor — robotics specialist Yrysjan Serikovich Sanzysbay.
  3. “Basics of Sewing” – in practical sessions, students acquire basic knowledge about materials, cutting and sewing techniques, and learn to work with sewing equipment. Course instructor — seamstress Anel Amangeldievna Orinbasarova.
    During the training, special attention is given to practical work, working with the modern equipment of FabLab, an individual approach to each participant, and the development of creative and technical thinking.
                Upon completion of the courses, all participants will receive official certificates confirming the competencies and skills acquired. These documents can become an important addition to students’ portfolios for further employment or education.
                The courses are aimed at students interested in developing competencies in technology, engineering, and creativity. Participation in the program helps students expand professional skills necessary in the modern labor market.
