Detailed study of the geological structure of productive horizons and searches for oil and gas promising objects of the Zhazgurlin depression

Project manager: Merekeyeva Elmira Konebaevna

Project term:

28 months (09.2022-12.2024)

Funding amount:

In 2022-2 999 894 tenge;
In 2023- 7 999 969 tenge;
In 2024-7 999 981 tenge.
Total: 18 999 844 tenge

The purpose of the project:

Is to study the detailed geological structure of the identified seismic, it provides for the processing and interpretation of seismic survey work for a detailed study of the section in order to identify promising oil and gas objects of Jurassic and Triassic deposits within the Zhazgurlin depression.

Scientific novelty:

For the first time, the Triassic deposits of the Southern Mangyshlak of the Zhazgurlin depression will be dissected in detail. In general, the seismic exploration work carried out using the 3D common depth point method will allow us to study the geological structure and assess the prospects for oil and gas potential at priority sites and recommend drilling wells.
