A New Course on the Use of AI Tools in Education Has Started

On October 28, 2025, the Institute of Continuing Education launched a new academic course developed by Feruza Kozibayevna Dalmukhanova, Assistant Professor of the Department of English Philology, Faculty of Philology and Sports, and Master of Philological Sciences. The course is titled “AI Tools in the Context of English Language Teaching”.

The program has sparked great interest among teachers, students, and graduate students. Over the course of a month, participants will explore modern approaches to integrating artificial intelligence technologies into the process of teaching English.

The training program aims to enhance teachers’ digital literacy and introduce innovative methods into the educational process. Participants will learn: key concepts and principles of artificial intelligence and its role in education; how to use modern AI tools for teaching English; how to create lesson plans, texts, and interactive activities with the help of AI; how to apply AI platforms to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills; ethical aspects of using artificial intelligence in pedagogical practice.

The course will conclude with the defense of an individual project — the development of a lesson or an educational resource based on AI technologies.

Upon completion, each participant will receive a standard-format certificate confirming their acquired knowledge and skills.

This course represents an important step toward promoting digital innovation in education and opens up new opportunities for English language teachers in the era of artificial intelligence.
