On September 26, Yessenov University welcomed an official delegation led by Mr. Sándor Lezsák, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Hungary. The delegation also included Mr. Sultan Raev, Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY).
The visit took place within the framework of the “Aktau – Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” year and coincided with the 3rd International TÜRKSOY Theater Festival.
During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the university’s development priorities, infrastructure, and scientific laboratories. An open dialogue was held with students and faculty members, during which the Hungarian side shared insights into their country’s experience in the fields of education, science, and culture.
Mr. Lezsák highly praised the openness of the university community and the enthusiasm of its students, noting that Yessenov University will continue to play an important role in strengthening the bonds of friendship between Kazakhstan and Hungary.
