From January 22 to 26, with the support of the World Bank and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a large-scale stage of the project “Enhancing the Potential of Teacher Education” was held at Yessenov University together with universities in Finland.
During the scaling stage, 1800 university professors of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including 38 educators from Yessenov University, actively participated in online and offline seminars.
The purpose of the scaling stage:
– development of leadership skills to support student-oriented and competency-based approaches to teacher education;
– development of syllabuses within the framework of innovative project-based pedagogical education;
– identification and adaptation of the best international practices;
– reflection on their professional position and knowledge.
The project was conducted by 50 trainers from Kazakhstan, specially trained with the help of experts from HAMK/JAMK Universities (Finland) and the Nazarbayev University Higher School of Education.
