From August 26 to 29, Yessenov University hosted a four-day green hydrogen training program for educators and curriculum developers. The event was organized by the Office of Hydrogen Diplomacy in Astana, with support from the PtX International Center (Germany).
The training aimed to equip university professors and curriculum developers with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and teach courses on green hydrogen—an important step toward establishing a sustainable hydrogen industry in Central Asia.
The program offered an in-depth exploration of green hydrogen, its production methods, and its practical applications across various industries for decarbonization.
Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Timmerberg, a professor at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) and a member of the Competence Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (CC4E), led the training, sharing his international expertise in the field of green hydrogen.
