On August 16, Yessenov University hosted a meeting with Askar Serkulovich Zhumadildaev, a distinguished Kazakh mathematician, statesman, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, professor, and former deputy of the 12th and 13th convocations of the Kazakh SSR and the Supreme Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event took place as part of the regional August educators’ meeting on the theme “DIGITAL KAZAKHSTAN: Education in Modern Times.” Zhumadildaev is also a recipient of the State Prize and an Honored Worker of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by local school teachers, math enthusiasts, and active members of the regional Association of Mathematics Teachers. Participants were introduced to ongoing educational projects in the region, engaged in discussions, and exchanged views with the guest on various educational topics.
