On May 8, a strategic meeting was held at Yessenov Technopark with college directors and heads of education departments from the districts of Mangystau Region.
The participants toured key laboratories of the technopark, including the Robotics Lab, Electronics Lab, 3D Construction Lab, and Laser Cutting Lab. They were also introduced to the work of 01Edu Space — a next-generation digital platform for learning programming based on the peer-to-peer approach.
During the session, new professional development courses were presented for computer science and technology teachers, focusing on robotics, IT competencies, and digital entrepreneurship. In addition, the university introduced a series of engineering and robotics courses for school students, which include 3D design, prototyping, robot assembly, and startup project development.
In the open discussion, the parties explored the possibility of jointly launching engineering clubs and summer STEM schools. The university expressed its readiness to become a regional hub for training mentors and implementing the FabLab approach within the secondary education system.
