On December 2, as part of the “Yessenov Forum: Sustainable Meanings”, Yessenov University hosted a regular meeting of the Scientific Council under the Akimat of the Mangystau Region.
The event was attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Akim of the Mangystau Region Nurdaulet Kilybay, representatives of local executive authorities, the scientific community, business, international and civil organizations, as well as university rectors and enterprise leaders.
The meeting addressed key topics such as education, logistics, water desalination, the ecology of the Caspian Sea, the maritime industry, hydrogen energy, and other pressing issues.
During the session, Minister Sayasat Nurbek emphasized that the Head of State had tasked integrating scientific research into production and strengthening the connection between the scientific community and business. He highlighted that the Mangystau Region holds significant potential to become a center for the development of new technologies in achieving these goals.
