On April 18-19, the 16th Republican Subject Olympiad took place at Yessenov University, organized by the Department of Natural Sciences of the Faculty of Science and Technology.
Students from 16 universities across the country participated in the Olympiad.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to promote the knowledge of the top students, identify professional competencies and qualities of student training, and create conditions for the disclosure of professional potential.
The Olympiad consisted of 2 stages. During the first stage, students demonstrated theoretical knowledge, while during the second stage, they showcased practical skills.
Following the jury’s decision, the Grand Prix was awarded to a student from Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, Perdebai Berik Mukhtaruly, and a student from Yessenov University, Bekbulat Kaysar Radikuly.
Second place was granted to students from Astana International University, North Kazakhstan University named after Manash Kozybayev, and Yessenov University.
Third place was shared by students from Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov, and Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov.
