On May 19 of this year, the Institute of Continuing Education launched advanced training courses for civil servants on the topic “Environmental Protection and Ecological Safety: Preservation of Forests and Wildlife” for employees of the State Communal Government Enterprise “Beyneu Forests and Wildlife.” The training was conducted by Fariza Musabekovna Khozhanepesova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Ecology and Geology, who has 10 years of experience in the field of ecology.
The goal of the course is to provide civil servants with systematic knowledge about environmental policy and safety in the field of forest and wildlife protection in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Mangystau region. Course participants also gained knowledge on ensuring ecosystem sustainability, managing specially protected natural areas, conserving biodiversity, and legal regulations.
The course curriculum combines theory and practice, aiming to develop participants’ environmental awareness, legal literacy, and management skills in the field of nature conservation. Upon completion of the course, participants were able to practically apply legislation on the protection of forest resources and wildlife, work with specially protected natural areas, and implement comprehensive measures to ensure ecological safety as professionals.
