The Policy of Accord and Unity in the Republic of Kazakhstan

On February 12, Yessenov University, with the support of the Department of Internal Policy of the Mangystau Region and the Department of “Social and Humanitarian Disciplines and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan,” hosted the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference on “The Policy of Accord and Unity in the Republic of Kazakhstan: Experience, Challenges, and Opportunities.”

The purpose of the event was to ensure a constructive and open dialogue on pressing issues of state policy in the field of public accord and national unity.

The conference was attended by the Deputy Akim of the Mangystau Region, Abbat Zhangirkhanovich Orisbayev, Deputy Director of the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Studies, Aigul Kakimbekovna Sadvokasova, Chairman of the Scientific and Expert Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, as well as representatives of government agencies, leaders of ethnocultural associations, public organizations, faculty members, and students of the university.

During the conference, a number of constructive proposals were put forward on the discussed topics to enhance the effectiveness of the organization and implementation of the tasks of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
