On April 15, Yessenov University hosted a cultural and educational event titled “Beauty on the Surface of Water,” organized in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Aktau.
Ebru, the art of painting on water surfaces, originated in India and became popular in Persian and Turkish cultures. This technique involves creating designs not only on paper but also on fabric.
The event featured the participation of Turkish art critic and Ebru master Nurbanu Yashar, who showcased her artwork and conducted a master class.
Yessenov University has several clubs aimed at nurturing students’ creative talents, including the Fine Arts club, which is actively engaged in various activities.
