Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan: Strengthening Ties in the Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty

On June 13–14, Yessenov University hosted the First Azerbaijan–Kazakhstan Youth Summer School titled “Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan: Strengthening Ties in the Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty.”

This important event was organized by the Azerbaijani Center Public Foundation in collaboration with the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Aktau and Yessenov University. The Summer School became a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

Forty participants from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and other Turkic countries gained a unique opportunity to exchange experience and knowledge in the fields of constitutional development, the history of sovereignty, and intercultural dialogue.

The rich program of the Summer School included seminars, training sessions, a visit to the Abish Kekilbayev Museum, and a sea excursion, enabling participants to gain a deeper understanding of the history, culture, and social life of both countries.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Consuls General of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. After the certificate awards, guests enjoyed a performance by Azerbaijani singer Rafael.
