Presentation of the book titled “2128 Kilometers to the West”

On November 4, Yessenov University hosted the presentation of the first book by poet and member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, Asylan Kuanyshuly, titled “2128 Kilometers to the West.”

Originally from Mangystau, the writer has already captivated discerning readers with his bold ideas and innovative explorations. Representatives of the intellectual community highly praised Asylan Kuanyshuly’s work, recognizing him as one of the youngest voices in intellectual poetry.

The poet’s works are regularly published in national newspapers, magazines, and online platforms. He began his professional journey as a journalist for the Qazaq Adebieti newspaper and currently serves as an editor at a literary publishing house.

At the presentation, poets and writers Anuarbek Bimangambet, Ereken Korabaev, Islam Koszhan, and Asylbek Zhanbyrbai delivered speeches. Professors of our university, Akmaral Otarova and Nagbdu Kamarova, presented their reports. Singers Yesenbai Kuli and Aigul Kubash performed musical pieces.

The author read his poems and answered questions from students and colleagues.
