During the meeting, issues such as the development of relations between Iranian Universities and Yessenov University, and the development of academic mobility between Iranian and YU students were discussed. The emphasis was placed on the rapid development of science and nanotechnology, thus it was proposed to open a laboratory for nano technologies in the walls of Yessenov University. The Rector also suggested opening a center for “Abay Studies” in the Republic of Iran. The final topic of discussion was the organization of an official visit of representatives of Yessenov University to the Republic of Iran to strengthen cooperation and discuss projects.
