For the second consecutive year, Yessenov University students have emerged as winners of the National Huawei ICT Competition!
At the National Final of the Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025, Yessenov University student Ruslan Tanatar, a third-year Computer Engineering major, secured 1st place in the Cloud Track category!
The National Final took place on November 18 at Al-Farabi KazNU, while the awards ceremony was held today in Astana. Ruslan’s victory, along with the achievements of Yessenov University students, is a tremendous source of pride for us! They will now represent Kazakhstan at the regional stage, which will take place on December 19 in Riyadh. This stage will feature 37 teams from 13 countries across the Middle East and Central Asia.
The Yessenov University Cloud Track team competed against students from Al-Farabi KazNU and Astana IT University, with the team led by Gulnaz Seitbekovna Zhilkishbayeva, an instructor from the ICT Academy.
Additionally, Yessenov University was honored with the title of “BEST PERFORMED ACADEMY”, and Gulnaz Seitbekovna Zhilkishbayeva received the “INSTRUCTOR OF THE YEAR” award.
