On December 7, Yessenov University hosted the annual anti-corruption rally among volunteers of the “Sanaly Urpaq” student club.
The rally featured 5 teams composed of first-year students. The judging panel included N.T. Mukatay, Chief Specialist of the Prevention Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency for the Mangystau Region, D.M. Usipbayev, Head of the “Mangystau – Adaldyk Alany” Project Office, N.Zh. Karabalin, Activist of the “Antikor Volunteers” Project and Member of the Mangystau Regional Public Council, as well as G.U. Zholdasbayeva, Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service at Yessenov University.
During the competition, students acted as anti-corruption volunteers, analyzing and identifying corruption-related situations in society. They also presented their best ideas for combating and eradicating corruption.
The final stage of the rally included a quiz aimed at assessing students’ knowledge of the “Law on Combating Corruption.”
