On November 2, Yessenov University President Berik Akhmetov met with U.S. Embassy Cultural and Educational Attaché Amber Ora and representatives from the University of Iowa (USA).
The meeting was attended by Iowa Venture School Adjunct-Instructor Gregg Barcus and International Business Institute Professor and Grant Program Administrator Kelly Bedeian.
As part of the two countries’ collaboration, Adjunct Lecturer-Instructor Gregg Barkus will conduct a 3-day training for teacher-mentors of the Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship curriculum at the Caspian Center for Entrepreneurship at Yosen University. At the training, teachers will learn about strategies for developing, capitalizing and implementing businesses and corporations, as well as the use of technology.
In addition, President Berik Akhmetov invited members of the delegation from the University of Iowa, USA, in the walls of Yesenov University to introduce a program of additional management education, training programs of foreign universities, to open in Aktau American corner Awareness Center.
