On 11 December, Yessenov University hosted the international scientific and practical conference “Education, Science, and Societal Values”, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Sembigali Tureshevich Zakenov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Chair of the Maslikhat of the city of Aktau.
The conference brought together leading scholars from Kazakhstan and abroad, representatives of public authorities and civil society, as well as faculty members, staff, and students of higher education institutions.
The event opened with a welcoming address by the President of Yessenov University, Berik Bakytzhanovich Akhmetov. The congratulations were continued by the Akim of Aktau, Abilkhair Zhanayuly Baipakov.
The work of the conference then proceeded in the format of parallel thematic sessions, where participants discussed pressing issues related to the development of education, science, and societal values.
