Intelligent system for non-invasive monitoring of the physiological state and behavioral characteristics of farm animals

AR23489215 Intelligent system for non-invasive monitoring of the physiological state and behavioral characteristics of farm animals

Project Manager: Oleg Ivashchuk

Project term:

The beginning is January 01, 2024, the end is December 31, 2026, the duration is 36 months

Funding amount:

2024-2026 is 104 669 030,5 tenge, including by year:
for 2024 – 29 231 748,5 tenge,
for 2025 – 39 338 870,750 tenge,
for 2026 – 36 098 411,25 tenge.

The purpose of the project:

The purpose of the project is to develop technology and an automated system with intelligent technical vision for non-invasive monitoring of the behavioral characteristics and physiological condition of farm animals in dense dynamic groups to ensure automated collection and intelligent processing of priority data in the management of meat farming, which will improve the quality of animal husbandry and increase the safety of livestock.

Scientific novelty:

The scientific novelty of the planned research lies in obtaining new scientific results, which together will ensure the creation of a new technology for non-invasive intelligent monitoring and analysis of various signs of the condition and activity of a dense group of a large number of farm animals in close contact and constant interaction, characterized by high dynamics of behavior.
