On April 4, Yessenov University hosted a meeting with faculty members and students of the Faculty of Business and Law as part of the National Plan of Events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by Judge of the Constitutional Court A.E. Zhatkanbayeva, Assistant to the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan R.S. Mazhitov, Constitutional Court Analyst A.K. Berdibayeva, Head of the Department of the Mangystau Region Prosecutor’s Office M. Boranbayeva, and Chairman of the Chamber of Legal Consultants for the Mangystau Region I.Yu. Mashinskiy.
The discussion focused on key issues related to upholding the supremacy of the Constitution within the country’s legal system. Participants emphasized the crucial role of the Constitutional Court in ensuring the alignment of laws and other normative legal acts with the Constitution.
Special attention was given to the Court’s role in adjudicating cases involving violations of citizens’ rights in the field of family relations, as well as to the potential for improving legal mechanisms aimed at protecting family values in Kazakhstan.
