Opening of the Mothers’ Council Center

On September 15, a new Mothers’ Council Center was inaugurated at Yessenov University under the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

With welcoming remarks, the event was opened by T.A. Abishev, Deputy Akim of Mangystau Region, A.A. Zhailkhanova, Head of the “Qogamdyk Kelisim” Public Institution of the Department of Internal Policy of the region, and E.T. Nurmaganbet, Executive Vice President of Yessenov University.

A special guest of the ceremony was A.P. Mohammad, multiple champion of Kazakhstan in handball and silver and bronze medalist of the Asian Championships, who presented the Center with a symbolic gift.

The Mothers’ Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, established in 2014, has since made a significant contribution to strengthening the institution of the family, preserving generational continuity and national traditions, and shaping a respectful image of mothers in society.

Yessenov University has always placed great emphasis on supporting women and mothers. Today, 68% of leadership positions at the university are held by women, a figure we are proud of.

We are confident that the newly established Mothers’ Council Center will become a space of comprehensive support — social, legal, moral, and psychological — for our faculty members and student mothers.
