On November 20, Yessenov University hosted an intra-university scientific conference titled “The Kazakh Khanate — the legacy of the ancestors, heritage for future generations”, organized by the Department of History and Traditional Art.
With welcoming remarks, the Vice President for Research and Development A.A. Seidaliev, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy A.M. Muratova, and the Head of the Department, PhD A.K. Nurmanova addressed the audience.
Within the framework of the conference, Academician of Social Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences, and Professor K.M. Zhaulin delivered an insightful report on “The Kazakh Khanate — the foundation of the history and spirituality of our people.” Presentations were also given by Candidate of Historical Sciences O.D. Tabyldieva on “Historical and legal characteristics of the military, diplomatic and judicial authority of the Kazakh khans,” PhD A.K. Nurmanova on “The Kazakh Khanate in Persian sources: key stages of political history,” and third-year History student Madiyar Orazaly on “Muhammad Haydar Dulati — the first researcher of the Kazakh Khanate.”
The conference concluded with a meaningful discussion and exchange of scholarly perspectives. To complete the event, first-year students of the Traditional Musical Art program performed the kyuis “Balbyrauyn” and “Adai,” emphasizing the historical atmosphere of the gathering.
