On September 26, as part of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s program “30 Years of Unity and Harmony” and in honor of the 90th anniversary of the public figure and scholar Zhazdyrkhan Seidaliyev, Yessenov University hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “National Unity and Harmony: The Legacy of Zhazdyrkhan Seidaliyev.”
The conference brought together distinguished participants, including Bekzat Zhusip, Deputy Akim of the Mangystau Region; Omirzak Ozganbayev, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor; Berdibay Shalabay, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor; Gulmira Biyalova, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences; Tatyana Dronzina (Bulgaria) and Venera Zheksembekova, Doctors of Political Sciences; Yuriy Shakhshaev, Chairman of the Public Association “Khalyk Kelisimi”, as well as other prominent scholars and public figures.
During the event, students presented their projects across eight areas of the Innovative Educational and Methodological Center “Serving Society.”
The program also featured the presentation of a new book, “Өмір жолы – өнеге” (“A Life Path – An Example”), dedicated to the life and scholarly contributions of Zhazdyrkhan Seidaliyev.
This day became an important moment that united science, history, and the innovative ideas of youth, emphasizing the enduring significance of Seidaliyev’s legacy for the development of modern Kazakhstan.
