On June 19, 2025, the prestigious international ranking agency QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) published the results of the QS World University Rankings 2026, one of the world’s most respected university rankings. Out of 30,000 universities worldwide, 8,567 participated in the evaluation, and only 1,501 were included in the final list. This year, the ranking welcomed 112 new universities, including three universities from Kazakhstan.
Yessenov University entered this ranking for the first time, placing in the 1201–1400 band, and ranked 15th among the 20 Kazakhstani universities included in the global list. This achievement confirms the high level of competitiveness of a regional university on the international stage.
Being included in the QS global ranking is not only recognition of the results achieved but also a strategically important milestone in the university’s development. It is strong evidence of the effectiveness of the chosen course towards innovation, international integration, and sustainable development.
