Opening of a Lecture Hall in honor of Shynabai Akkenzheev

On May 30, Yessenov University held the official opening of a lecture hall named in honor of Shynabai Akkenzheev, Honored Builder of the Republic of Kazakhstan and hydraulic engineer.

Shynabai Akkenzheev made a significant contribution to the development of water management and engineering infrastructure in the Mangystau region. The enterprise he founded, PMK-67, was later transformed into the regional water management construction authority and was responsible for building reservoirs, water supply systems, and social infrastructure facilities across the region.

Following his retirement, Shynabai Akkenzheev continued to participate in expert project assessments and actively shared his professional experience with young specialists. His publications, including “Tagdyrym toghysqan qurylystar”, “Dauir-Dauren”, and “Bel-belester”, serve as important sources on the history of the construction sector and regional development.

The newly opened lecture hall will serve as an educational and informational center for students and aspiring engineers.
