Every year, Yessenov University gathers professors, researchers, and staff for an educational project where seminar participants deepen their knowledge, master modern research methods, and strengthen professional connections. From January 13 to 23, 2025, seminars of the “Winter School-2025” program were held, aimed at enhancing the qualifications of professors. Special attention was given to important areas such as: “Development of Educational Work and Mentorship Skills” (topics: “Generation Z and the Personality of the Teacher, The Role of the Teacher in Educating Generation Z,” “Educational Work in the Student Dormitory,” “The Direction of Educational Work in Higher Education Institutions”); “IT Technologies” (topics: “Development and Implementation of MOOCs for the International Coursera Platform,” “Use of the Platonus System”); “Development of Scientific Potential” (“Integration of Scientific Research into the Educational Process: Strategies and Best Practices”); “Curriculum and Methodological Management” (topics: “Development of Syllabuses for the Educational Programs of the Fin Project” for pedagogical faculty, “Innovative Teaching Methods” for non-pedagogical faculties, “Procedures for Working with Information Systems” (working with teachers and advisors), “Using IT Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in the Educational Process”).
The program lasts several weeks, and for each area, separate course topics are developed, allowing participants to exchange experiences with colleagues and establish connections in the scientific community.
“Winter School-2025” can rightfully be called a unique educational project that contributes to the development of science, youth education, the learning process, and the professional growth of university staff.
