From October 7, 2024, in accordance with the Rules of Pedagogical Retraining dated March 17, 2020 No. 110 of the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the second stream of retraining courses for non-pedagogical specialties has started. Earlier, the Institute of Continuing Education in the 2023/2024 academic year held the first stream of training courses for students with vocational education who do not have a pedagogical education, for the first time starting the professional activities of a teacher.
Retraining programs are aimed at mastering additional knowledge, skills and abilities in educational programs that provide for the study of individual disciplines, sections of science, technology and technology necessary to perform a new type of professional activity.
Acceptance of documents and enrollment of students in pedagogical retraining courses was carried out in accordance with the Classifier of Conformity of Specialties. Currently, training takes place in the following educational programs: 6V01705- “Foreign language: two foreign languages,” 6V01503- “Informatics” and 6V01502- “Physics.”
The courses are conducted by highly qualified trainers: Master of Pedagogical Sciences Zh.A. Tadzhibaeva; Head of the Department of Natural Sciences, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences E.U. Sagindykova; Senior Lecturer, Department of Pedagogy, Defectologist G.M. Zholdybaeva; Assistant Professor of the Department of Computer Sciences G.O. Urbisinovа; Master of Pedagogical Sciences J.B. Bekenzhan; assistant professor of the department “Pedagogy” M.B. Kabakovа; Master of Foreign Language Sciences M.S. Zhaқypbekova; Professor of the Department of Computer Sciences E.A. Abdikerimovа and Associate Professor of the Department of Fundamental Sciences K.B. Bizhanovа.
The courses include both theoretical instruction and practical training. The program is focused exclusively on the needs of specialists and intensive practice of pedagogical skills.
Upon completion of pedagogical retraining courses, students are issued a National Certificate.
