On April 18, Yessenov University hosted the grand opening of the 16th Republican Subject Olympiad among students of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the educational program “B012-training of chemistry teachers”.
Speaking at the opening of the Olympiad, Vice-President for Academic Affairs of Makulov University, Kayyrbek Kaldanbekovich, wished success to the participants of the Olympiad and noted the importance of the contribution of youth to the success of our country in the field of education and science. The opening ceremony continued with a concert program.
The 16 teams that came to the Olympiad will compete in two stages: theoretical and practical knowledge.
On the first day of the Olympiad, student representatives from all over Kazakhstan visited the Mangystau Regional Museum of Local History named after Abish Kekilbayev, where they familiarized themselves with the history, traditions, and culture of the region.
After the first round of the program, engaging intellectual games were organized for the participants of the Olympiad. Additionally, a stroll along the Caspian embankment and a tour of the sights of Aktau were arranged for the guests of the Olympiad.
