In January, Yessenov University, in collaboration with the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TICA), inaugurated the Turkish Language Center at the Faculty of Tourism and Languages.
In connection with this event, Mustafa Kayihan, an expert from the Yunus Emre Institute of Culture in Turkey, joined YU for one year. On February 13, he commenced teaching Turkish to students enrolled in the educational programs of “International Relations,” “Foreign Language: two foreign languages,” and “Restaurant and Hotel Business.”
The approach to teaching Turkish language courses at Yessenov University aligns with the General European Language Guidelines.
Turkish language lessons at YU emphasize all four fundamental language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The language training follows levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, as defined by the criteria of the European Language Portfolio.
