On November 3, Yessenov University hosted the annual reporting meeting of the university President Akhmetov Berik Bakytzhanovich with the public about the work done in the 2022-2023 academic year.
The development of human capital in the 2022-2023 academic year is reflected in the growth of the student body. Since 2018, the number of university students has increased from 5,531 to 8,930.
As everyone knows, we focus not on quantity, but on quality. The employment rate of university graduates according to the indicator is 91.2%.
Since 2018, the effectiveness of the University’s research has been confirmed by an impressive increase in grant funding. By the way, since 2019 it has grown 26 times, compared to the 2021-2022 academic year – 5 times, and amounted to 1.17 billion tenge.
In addition, the construction of the Kazakh-German Institute of Sustainable Engineering has begun.
In September of this year, educational programs “Logistics” and “Energy and Environmental Engineering” were launched. 45 students were accepted for two educational programs on the basis of a state order. By 2030, the Institute plans to train a total of 1,725 students in 8 bachelor’s degree programs and 6 master’s degree programs.
