On December 2, as part of the “Yessenov Forum: Sustainable Meanings” at Yessenov University, a ceremony was held to inaugurate three significant facilities for the region: the “Yessenov Technopark” complex, a youth park, and a football stadium.
The event was attended by the Advisor to the President of Kazakhstan, Kuanyshbek Esekeev, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, the Akim of Mangystau Region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, a member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Edil Zhanbyrshin, as well as rectors of the country’s higher educational institutions, heads of major enterprises, deputies, and public figures.
The Technopark has become a unique platform for entrepreneurs, university and college students, as well as schoolchildren. Here, participants can bring their ideas and startup projects to life while also mastering technical professions such as turner and welder. The modern two-story facility, covering an area of 2000 square meters, houses workshops for robotics, digital production, metalworking, and woodworking on the first floor. The second floor is dedicated to training in artificial intelligence, game development, blockchain, cryptocurrency, mobile applications, and cybersecurity. The program is being implemented under the guidance of Nicolas Sadirac, a world-renowned French expert specially invited to Yessenov Forum.
Forum participants also attended the opening ceremony of the youth park and planted trees within its grounds. The park is designed for outdoor recreation, as well as for hosting musical and entertainment events. It features an amphitheater, a fountain, and a café with 50 seats. The park boasts 3000 newly planted trees and is open not only to students but to all residents of the city.
The new stadium, located on the university campus, spans an area of 7000 square meters and offers opportunities for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and hosting sports events. It is suitable for regional-level competitions in football and track and field. After the opening ceremony, a friendly football match was held between the teams of Yessenov University and Atyrau University.
