An international scientific and practical conference titled “The Legacy of K. Zhamanbayeva: Cognitive Foundations of Language, Thought, and National Education” was held at Yessenov University, dedicated to the scholarly legacy of the distinguished linguist Kanygul Zhamanbayeva.
The conference addressed key issues in cognitive linguistics, the relationship between language and thought, national education, and the teaching of the Kazakh language. The event brought together scholars from Kazakhstan and abroad, who exchanged academic perspectives and research experience.
As part of the conference, a specialized classroom named after Kanygul Zhamanbayeva was officially opened. New editions of the scholar’s academic works were also presented.
Following the conference, significant recommendations were adopted and promising directions for future research were identified.
