Akhmetov Berik Bakhytzhanuly

Berik Akhmetov is a specialist in information systems. He began his career at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where he rose from lecturer to head of the academic and methodological department. In 2010 he earned the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences with research on information security in university processes, then completed postdoctoral studies in Germany and an MBA in the USA. After serving as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi University, he became Rector of Yessenov University in 2017 and has served as its President-Rector since 2020. He has completed leadership programmes for university managers at Oxford, Cambridge, UC Berkeley and Nazarbayev University.

Grischenko Irina Fyodorovna

Irina Grischenko spent 15 years in school education as a history teacher and vice principal before moving into the social sector at Kazatomprom-Demeu. Since 2013 she has been Chief Operating Officer of the Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation, where she oversees the foundation's day-to-day operations. From 2015 to 2020 she was also Executive Director of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation. She has completed management training with PERFORMIA, the EY Academy of Business and the Kazakhstan Quality Organization.

Akhmetov Serik Zhetpisbaiuly

Serik Akhmetov is an entrepreneur who started out at Saybolt International. In 2008 he founded Mediana Services Limited, which he still leads. Since 2015 he has been Executive Director of Grant Kazakhstan, and since 2018 he has headed the Mangystau Startup Accelerator, which supports young entrepreneurs in the region. He also teaches at the Academy of Public Administration and earned an MBA from Almaty Management University in 2024.

Ibagarov Maksat Ongarbaiuly

Maksat Ibagarov has spent more than 30 years in Mangystau's oil industry. He joined Ozenmunaigas in 1992 after graduating from the Zhanaozen Oil and Gas College and rose to General Director, a post he held from 2013 to 2016. After working at KazMunayGas, he served as Akim of Zhanaozen from 2019 to 2022, then returned to lead Ozenmunaigas as General Director. He is a graduate of Sh. Yessenov Aktau State University and holds an MBA from Nazarbayev University.

Tynysbekov Baurzhan Askharuly

Baurzhan Tynysbekov has worked in public finance for his whole career. He joined the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2012 and in 2024 was appointed Deputy Chairman. He studied in Kazakhstan and at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.
