Yessenov University has taken an important step toward improving the quality of education and ensuring compliance with international standards by officially joining the Academic Integrity League, which unites leading universities in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿.
From April 8 to 10, a monitoring group of the Academic Integrity League, operating based on the international principles of ICAI, paid a working visit to the university. The main purpose of the visit was to assess the level of compliance with academic integrity principles, identify best practices, and develop recommendations aimed at further enhancing the quality of education.
During the visit, meetings were held with the university administration, faculty members, and students. The mechanisms ensuring transparency and integrity in the educational process were thoroughly examined. Special attention was given to digitalization, proctoring systems, and tools for monitoring academic integrity.
Currently, Yessenov University systematically implements measures to ensure academic integrity. The university has adopted academic policies and a Code of Academic Integrity, and has introduced anti-plagiarism systems, proctoring, and digital monitoring tools. In addition, continuous informational and educational activities are carried out among students and faculty to promote a culture of integrity.
Yessenov University will continue to consistently uphold the principles of academic integrity, fostering an open, fair, and high-quality educational environment.
