At Yessenov University, phased salary increases are systematically carried out every year to motivate staff, improve their social well-being, and support professional development. The university’s primary value lies in its people, and the effort and concrete results of every employee deserve fair recognition.
This year, the university continues its efforts by raising the salaries of the teaching and academic faculty. Simultaneously, performance-based incentives have been strengthened: the KPI bonus budget for academic staff has been increased from 129 million KZT last year to 250 million KZT this year—nearly doubling in size. This represents a major step toward objectively evaluating professional activity, research output, teaching quality, and real contributions to the university’s growth.
Additionally, starting September 1, employee salaries were increased by an amount equal to one base monthly salary. As a result, average salaries grew for junior service staff from 224K to 264K KZT, for educational support staff from 259K to 311K KZT, and for leading specialists from 410K to 479K KZT.
For Yessenov University, salary increases represent more than just social support—they are a key component of building a fair motivation system where hard work, performance, and career growth are interconnected.
