Yessenov University invites faculty members, researchers, young scientists, doctoral students, and research teams to participate in the university-wide competition for applied research projects within the framework of the international Applied Research Fund initiative of the PROGRESS – Green Skills for Green Economy in Central Asia project, implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Objective of the competition
To support innovative applied research aimed at addressing real industrial challenges faced by enterprises and promoting the integration of scientific developments into the economy of Kazakhstan.
Priority areas
Who can participate?
Employees and researchers of Yessenov University who implement projects in cooperation with enterprises in the energy sector are invited to participate.
A mandatory requirement of the competition is the presence of at least one industry partner interested in implementing the research results.
Funding
Winners of the competition will have the opportunity to attract funding for project implementation of up to 20,000 euros.
