On February 20, 2026, a ceremony to award the winners of the social video contest “An Honest Society Begins with Youth” was held among students of the Engineering Faculty.
The purpose of the contest was to increase students’ legal awareness by explaining the prevention, detection, and suppression of corruption-related offenses, as well as the consequences of such violations.
Students from four departments of the Engineering Faculty took part in the contest, presenting a total of seven video clips. Through their creative ideas, the participants promoted the values of honesty and fairness.
Contest winners:
1st place – students of the Department of Energy
2nd place – students of the Department of Civil Engineering
3rd place – students of the Department of Ecology and Life Safety
Students of the Department of Geology and Petrochemical Engineering were awarded letters of appreciation.
As a result of the contest, an increase in students’ knowledge regarding anti-corruption issues, as well as their activity and creative potential, was observed. The event contributed to strengthening young people’s civic responsibility and promoting the idea of building an honest society.
