On January 28, Yessenov University hosted a meeting on the topic “Rule of Law: Protecting the Future of Student Youth” as part of the “Law and Order” project.

The main objective of the meeting was to foster a legal culture among students, explain the importance of complying with legal requirements, prevent offenses, and enhance the level of legal awareness among young people.

The event was attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies, officers from the Mangystau Regional Police Department and the criminal enforcement system, faculty members, and university students. In addition, individuals currently serving sentences and those who had previously served sentences joined the meeting online via the Zoom platform. One of the participants shared her personal experience and spoke about the real-life consequences of unlawful behavior.

Law enforcement representatives provided detailed explanations regarding the maintenance of public order, legal responsibility, the social and legal consequences of offenses, as well as the rights and obligations of young citizens. The meeting was held in an open dialogue format, allowing students to receive comprehensive and specific answers to their questions.

The event made a significant contribution to shaping students’ legal awareness, strengthening respect for the law, and enhancing a sense of personal responsibility among young people.
