From December 2 to 12, 2025, the Institute of Continuing Education at Yesenov University held a course titled “Sustainability: An Opportunity for Academics to Create a Better Future for All” (Sustainable Development in Action: An Academic Opportunity for a Brighter Future).
The course was conducted by invited professor Dr. Sheku Ahmed Fofanah from Bath Spa University (London), who shared practical knowledge and strategies enabling the academic community to make a real contribution to building a sustainable and equitable future for everyone.
The course program included: modern approaches to sustainable development in science and education; the development of practical projects for implementing environmental and social initiatives; exchange of international experience and best practices.
All participants successfully completed the course and received certificates confirming their competencies in sustainable development and their ability to implement socially significant projects.
