On February 6, a roundtable titled “A Just and Civic Society” was held at the Faculty of Pedagogy of Yessenov University.

The event brought together Deputy Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Mangystau Region K.N. Adilkhanov, Head of the Project Office “Mangystau Region – Territory of Integrity” D.M. Usipbayev, Director of the Mangystau branch of the National Anti-Corruption Movement “Zhanaru,” Director of the public foundation “Salamatty El” G.B. Yesetova, as well as Coordinator of the Project Office “Mangystau Region – Territory of Integrity,” Chair of the public association “Shuagyngdy Shash,” and member of the “Auyl” party A.A. Shamshadinova.

During the session, participants thoroughly examined issues related to corruption prevention in society, the specifics of public service, and mechanisms for ensuring transparency and accountability of government bodies. Particular attention was given to the issue of everyday corruption, its forms, and its negative impact on social development, as well as the importance of fostering a culture of zero tolerance toward corruption among young people.

A separate segment focused on the role of the “Holistic Personality” concept in personal development and its connection to the principles of fairness, integrity, and civic responsibility.

The meeting concluded with an open dialogue with students, during which participants answered numerous questions and shared practical experience and recommendations.
