Yessenov University Hosts Meeting with the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey

On October 6, Yessenov University hosted a meeting with Bilal Emre Biral, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Aktau.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the economic and strategic potential of the Mangystau region, the development of the Middle Corridor passing through the Caspian Sea, new opportunities in logistics, as well as the training of engineering and legal specialists needed in the region.

Academic ties between Yessenov University and higher education institutions in Turkey are also systematically expanding. Currently, the university has memorandums of cooperation with 15 Turkish universities. This partnership creates broad opportunities for developing student and faculty academic mobility, implementing joint educational programs, and conducting scientific projects.

Particular attention during the meeting was paid to the role of quality education and the training of qualified specialists in efficiently utilizing the transit and logistics potential of the Caspian region.

Such meetings within the framework of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Turkey contribute to strengthening inter-university ties and open up new prospects for implementing joint initiatives and projects.
